To be honest, the granite top, the bowl and the faucet all appear to be excellent quality.\n\nHowever, the same can not be said for the base. "Dark wood tone" does not mean that the base is wood. The base, including the legs is made of a cheap wood based material that is then covered in a vinyl or other plastic material that has as simulated wood design printed on it. There is no visible wood anywhere on the base.\n\nFor the price and quality of the rest of the vanity, the base really is disappointing.

We're very pleased with this vanity kit. It's very solid and made from good material. The faucets looks and work great, and gives our tiny bathroom a more "open" feeling compared with the closed-cabinet style we had.\n\nIf I had to nit pick, I'd say the bottom shelf has a semi-circle cutout in the back third of the shelf. I imagine this is to bring the plumbing lines in from the floor if you have them. It's not bad, but it does rob you of some shelf space. However, my wife found a long basket that fits right over the cutout and it looks fine.\n\nOverall, we love it and the complementing mirror as well. Just what we we looking for.
